"I created this blog because I genuinely enjoy coaching other plus-sized phenoms on ways to style their wardrobe. There wasn't always a time where "Curvy" and "Plus-size" were options for us; now, we have the opportunity and choices to become more creative and fly without the confines of "size." —Crystal Reed

Memphis native, Crystal Reed's intense love for style, fashion, and obsession with accessories developed at a young age while emulating the fashionista styles of her mom and sisters and fancying her grandmothers' immaculate jewelry collection. Over time, that passion evolved while learning the impact of visual merchandising during her tenure at several large retail chains. Observing the captivation and excitement in a client's eyes from merely looking at her window display and mannequins overjoyed Crystal. After deciding to hang up her retail hat, Reed pursued a career in aviation, which afforded her the opportunity to relocate in 2013 to Chicago. The "Windy City" is where Crystal currently calls home while furthering her education in Organizational Psychology and continuing to cultivate her fervor for fashion.

During her "MAC Girl" days in 2011, the only colors that mattered were black and white; 2 staple colors that could do no wrong. However, upon moving to Chicago, a city held as one of the US's fashion meccas in its own right, Crystal was exposed to a multitude of diverse trends, colors, and prints. This discovery, coupled with her earlier experiences, has vastly expanded her flair for style, fashion, and accessories, including her own brand of luxury wrist-wear, Reed & Co. Designs.

“Fashion you can buy, but style you possess. The key to style is learning who you are, which takes years. There's no how-to road map to style. It's about self-expression and, above all, attitude."
