Canadian Tuxedo

“A "Canadian tuxedo" is a colloquial term for wearing a jean shirt or denim jacket with jeans. The term reportedly originated in 1951 after Bing Crosby was refused entry to a hotel in Vancouver, British Columbia because he was wearing a denim top and denim bottoms”. -Google

There was a time where you couldn’t pay me to mix denim. It was like trying to pair up the 6 different types of black…unheard of.

But now…It’s a vibe and i’m here for it :)

The outfit is pretty simple, just a denim button-down half-tucked and and my AE Curvy High-Waist Jeans.

Tucks, knots, and fupa’s all summer beloved, never forget LOL!

At this point, I have just about every color in the Steve Madden Vala pumps. These denim ones slap but I still don’t know how I feel about the white sole. It’s different, I think Steve watches CL a lil too closely lol!

Accessories include Reed & Co. bracelets, OF COURSE, my favorite Quay frames that make me feel 70’s, and a fold-over denim clutch and textured pom ombre earrings both from Amazon.
